RSS
Tried to integrate RSS into a FriendFeed group but got error message telling me that the feed was not available. Tried different ways to do this, don't have the problem with feeds from other sites.

Inappropriate?I had no problem integrating one of the feeds via the Custom RSS/Atom option under the Miscellaneous services. Which feed caused the problem for you?
-
Inappropriate?Okay it should work now. Your feed had a large number of entries which made it too slow to load on FriendFeed so I changed feeds to only show the last 40 entries.
-
OK; it does work now. Thanks! -
Inappropriate?XML template still contains "example.com". Example: http://bit.ly/kBbNd - the "auditory-motor coupling" link in "...ago from Auditory-motor coupling" leads to http://example.com/f/132/auditory-mot... , even though the feed comes from http://pubfeed.cs.toronto.edu/f/132/a... .

Inappropriate?Good catch. Should be fixed now but I don't think Friendfeed will reflect the fix until new feed entries appear.
-
Inappropriate?I made some appear, but they had the wrong outgoing link. Example at http://ff.im/4b4zP .
-
Inappropriate?Hmm, so some of the papers Pubfeed picks up don't have links because Google Scholar provides publications results that aren't linked sometimes (see first 2 results at http://bit.ly/RFTzt ). The default feed link thus pointed back to Pubfeed in these cases but you're right that that doesn't make sense so I've changed the link to point to the Google Scholar search result page instead.

Inappropriate? Thanks. Having links to the search results would come in handy and allow to make use of the "include entry description as comment" option below.
