Delete duplicate 'names'? OK or bad idea?
Hello,
I noticed that many of my 'names' (for example vendor names) are duplicated, either as exact matches or slightly different spellings. What is the implication of deleting one arbitrarily? Are they linked to Docs in the database, and are these links destroyed when I delete one of the duplicated names? See attached image.

Inappropriate?Hi Scott,
There is no danger of deleting a name. If you use a name in a document, the name will remain tagged to the document even after being deleted.
There is also a feature in your Tools menu, "Name Change", that allows you to change names. Changing names will replace every instance of the name in QCDocs Systems.
