Change Qik temp storage from phone storage to storage card?
How do I configure Qik so that it doesn't store video on handset memory, but rather on my storage card (which has a lot more storage)? The reason I ask is that my N73 has precious little storage, and Qik just devours it, leading to stream interruption, system crashes, and many errors requiring me to manually clean up the mess.

Inappropriate?Thanks for the feedback on this. I'm curious-- where _is_ temp storage presently? and for long streams which maybe have a delay over 30sec, is it a lack of this cache space that might be causing streams to freeze-frame for the duration of the clip?

Storage (in my experience it's everything you record) is in C:\Shared\Videos\Qik (where C is the phone storage).

ok-- yes, I've looked in there (albeit thru wm6.1 filemanager, not from PC over USB) and saw only lots of txt log files (with amusing messages within). Could it be that the tmp store is used and wiped clean once uploaded?

Inappropriate?@photoblogger I think that's how it's SUPPOSED to be, but apparently my phone's not doing that for some reason. I, personally, don't mind the files not being deleted (saves me the trouble of having to download them), I'd just rather see them on my memory card ;) Of course, it's a little odd, seeing as Qik actuall made folders on my card.1 Comment Add a comment

Ah! So the files do exist (assumed as 3gp or wmv) somewhere? That is good news (and bad news in the case of internal vs external storage). I'll have to poke around a bit to see if I can find mine. Are they clearly visible in the path you posted above using wm6.1's filemanager w/o enabling Hidden/System files?
