How to troubleshoot Blackjack II install, nothing happens after installation

I am having the same problem with my Qik install on my BJ2. Any ideas?

Same prob here... setup account over the weekend, downloaded the cab from link in sms.....when I launch the link on my Blackjack II the program does not start... Help!

Glad to see I'm not the only one with this issue. I sent all of my info over to Qik support yesterday so we'll see what they say.

thanks to all for bringing out the problem. Our developers are taking look at it.

Ditto on the Blackjack II. Firs ttwo or three times I started the app, it crashed and windows error reporting sent a llog. but that stopped and now nothing happens when I start Qik. I restarted phone and nothing happens when I start qik.

Could you send ur logs to support@qik.com with your phone number.

Ummm... how do you send a log?

Ditto, same exact thing for me on a Blackjack II.

There is a Qik folder under "my device" . There should be a few logs after you install and try to launch Qik

Well, here we are a week later and unfortunately for us still qik-less on the BJ2. Does anyone know if there have been any updates yet?

Negative. I sent in all my log files as requested, but haven't heard back from anyone. Really hope they get this issue fixed so I can start using Qik!

come on! there is absolutely no reason this issue shouldnt have been resolved the day it came up, much less two weeks later without so much as a word from the qik team! you guys are seriously dropping the ball

Same problem on my blackjack 1, installs perfectly but will not start, the log file is virtually the same. It's incredibly frustrating to see this application get interested and then suddenly have the letdown of finding out it doesn't work, i can't believe nothing has happened in 16 days.

No updates. I emailed support@qik.com a few days ago linking to this thread asking for an update but have not heard anything.

This is really disappointing... I'm thinking that if we can get enough people to complain, they might take this problem seriously. I might just give up on this app. Know of anything comprable?

I thought the samsung blackjack II was supported?

I downloaded on my BJII with success. i bet the reason folks are having issues is that your rate plan only comes with wap.att as the apn vs isp.att. the folks from qik can look at how the code is written to accomidate this default apn when a majority of the folks who get data plans on pda devices are enabled with wap.att or wap.your carrier...just a thought and not an expert at qik

I just tried to re-install and I am now told that my BJII is not a Qik suported device, eventhough it was last week. So, instead of fixing the problem or answering any of my emails and telling me that they were unable to fix the problem, I am left to find this out on my own. A little communication goes a long way when trying to work the bugs out and build a support base.

The " not supported " message you got is merely a URL twist issue.

Before you do that. I encourage your to delete existing Qik application from program and delete entire Qik folder as well.

I am having one more issue though. When I try to register it says my number already exists, but when I click "forgot username or password" it says my number does NOT exist.

It appears like I'm half registered, but not fully so basically I can't login

when require password, number format should be country code followed by number without any space and dash
e.g. my number 14084646273 hope that helps
