HTC Diamond and autofocus
I'm using Qik with an HTC Touch Diamond device and video works but it is alway blurred and out of focus.
Will you support the autofocus function on this device ?

Inappropriate? We'll take a note your wishes about autofocus.
Could you test last Qik version 4.11 Alpha: http://qik.com/dl/421
on HTC Touch Diamond. It has improved perfomance. -
Installed it and ran it. It launches a lot faster and does not seem to be prone to hanging like the precedent version (which sometimes left the phone "on" with no alternative but to let the battery drain completely). The previous version was causing so much issues that I simply stopped using it. -
Auto Focus would really be appreciated, by the way :) -
Inappropriate?Hi Andrew
Thanks for the link. I installed the new Alpha and now I cannot send video at all. I believe I have everything setup correctly. -
Try pressing the center of the round button to send the video. -
Inappropriate?DOH! I was trying the arrows on the top left.
Thanks. :) -
Inappropriate?Looks like I lost the ability to send location information with this Alpha.
Anyone else see the same issue? -
Inappropriate? It pinpointed my location despite the fact that I am inside the house! Did you set-it up correctly? Tap on the "..." on the right side of the screen and then tap the 3rd icon from top. This will give you access to the "share location" settings. Are you using quickgps to speed up GPS acquiring? If so, it might be a good idea to refresh the data as it may be outdated.
-
Inappropriate?Yeah.. I set the location to exact. Quick GOS updates automatically.
GSP is working fine in Google and other apps.
I'll see if it works if another app activates the gps first. -
Inappropriate?OK even if I leave google maps running I cant seem to get GPS to function in the alpha. I also am noticing that the phone gets quite warm to the touch when using QIK. On last exit the phone completely locked up and I had to reboot to regain functionality.
(I do understand this is an alpha.. :) )
