I want to use my account on two phones ... how can I do this?
I have been using Qik on my Nokia E70, and I just bought a N95-3 ... I moved my SIM card over to experiment, and then visited the same Qik link to download the application. It's down now, but the activation code will not work.
I want to keep the application working on both phones so that I can compare the quality on both ... what do I do?
I'm not ready to move to the N95-3, because although it might become my Qik device, I don't like it as a phone in general. (No keyboard!!) and so I want to be able to move my SIM card back and forth and Qik from both of these devices ...
How do I get a new activation code, without disabling Qik on my other phone?
P.S. You guys are making this too complex ... :-)

Inappropriate? Each time before you switch phone , just go to you profile click"reinstall" which temporarily deactivates your phone and then on the new phone go to Qik menu--->setting--->reactivate device--->yes and enter the same code.
(we are working on "easily switch phone" feature as well. Will come soon, Do not be frustrated:)
I’m amused

Inappropriate?Ugh! I have to go to the web to do this? Why all of the complexity? I'm going to guess that you have some architected reason why you put all of this overhead into the system ...
Can you briefly explain why all of this stuff with activating phones, etc. and codes and all? What are you trying to prevent, or what value does all of this provide to me as a user?
I’m confused
-
Inappropriate?the code was the initial unique way to identify users, we will soon remove it.

Inappropriate?hello - for me doesn't work - when I've downloaded Qik on my new phone it says "no SMS found" please click reinstall qik... than if I want to reinstall it via SMS - system says that it is not my telephone number!?!
I’m not happy

Inappropriate?jernei
ur phone number has to be with county code in front -
Inappropriate?jap, I did figure it out - that's you designers fault - cause it looks like you don't need to write in...
anyway that doesen't solve the problem - message wasn't sent. I didn't got it on my phone... is there any other way to confirm that? via serial number? -
Inappropriate?is ur account name " Jernej " ?
if yes, i have sent you the link you need. -
Inappropriate?and where is that link? I did not get it my phone (+38641826677)
-
Inappropriate?ok, you've send link on wrong number - we've already had discussion about that - I've changed that number few months ago. Please change it for good now in your system to +38641826677 !
The thing is that this link doesen't work on my Nokia N85 - you should send me the right one (I think is the older version - http://tinyurl.com/6b3s3r - this version works on my N85) -
Inappropriate? There is an easy way to do this. Just go to http://d.qik.com from your mobile phone and then download the client. Once installed, start the client and you can then login as an existing user with your qik username/password. This way you can have multiple phones streaming to the same account.
