K850i problems, stream freezes, corrupt videos, not-quite-live
Just reporting my experiences with my K850i.
1) Pause/Freeze while streaming. When I go live about every 10 seconds or so the screen will go black for about 3 seconds, and then come back. I don't know if the stream is getting interrupted during this time, or what.
2) Corrupt videos - Randomly a video that I create will be unviewable, and even the thumbnail for it is a missing image
3) Really live? - I have streamed "live" and at the same time had a browser checking my page, and even after 3 minutes of streaming "live", there was no hint of my video appearing on my page. I go back some time afterwards and it is there, when its not the corrupt video mentioned in #2
4) Reboots - This happened for the first time tonight. I was trying to stream a video and my phone spontaneously rebooted itself. My phone has the latest firmware.
Note that I think Qik is an awesome idea, and I am not "complaining", just providing feedback so you guys can make Qik better! :-)

Inappropriate?FYI I have verified that no video is recorded during periodic blank screen/pauses that happen while streaming. In other words playing back my uploaded videos have missing parts in them every 20 seconds or so.

Inappropriate?I'm certainly having the same problem. In fact, it wouldn't load at all until I deleted my music from the SD card. I'm going to try moving my photos off of it, see if that helps.

Inappropriate?Just re-downloaded and tried Qik out again, hoping a newer version would work better. Nope. Still pauses recording every 10 seconds for 1-2 seconds.

Recording breaks every 10 seconds are known issue. It can not be avoided, because we do not have access to raw video data on J2ME phones, there are no such API. This is a platform limitation. We have to stop recording every 10 seconds, only after that we could have access to the video portion recorded by device and then we upload it to our server. So you should expect to see delay of 10 seconds as a minimum.
We are constantly looking on how to improve this situation.
