locks up on htc fuze

I installed the latest version on my HTC Fuze (0.2.21) and though the program starts, it is locked up and cannot be controlled. After waiting a bit I can kill it with task manager, but the program just locks up after initializing the camera. I can see an image, but nothing else seems to work and it does not initiate streaming. Program works fine on my Blackjack 2 and I'm using the stock ATT ROM.
