Inappropriate?Dear Sir,
Please specify your device and version that you're trying to install, and provide all relevant information. What was the e-mail title of your message?

Inappropriate?I had this problem on my treo 800w, and just recently on my new samsung intrepid. I am trying to install the latest version from your site...4.21
I sent the email on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at 12:38 PM.
The subject line was Crashes before displaying anything.
I included the log file as an attachment. I also included my username as you have instructed others to do in the past. -
Inappropriate?Dear Sir,
Unfortunately, I was not able to find your e-mail.
Please send it again to support@qik.com with title "v.4.21 - samsung intrepid issue"
Sorry for any inconvenience. -
Inappropriate?I have once again sent the email to you attached with the log file. I sent it this morning. Thanks.

Inappropriate?Dear jmelz,
You happened to install Qik version for WM Touchscreen devices.
Please go to qik.com/dl/348 to install Qik for WM SmartPhones v.2.44.
If you downloaded via d.qik.com, we'll update it to recognize your phone correctly. It is "SAMSUNG SPH-i350", right? Please, let us know if you could download it successfully.

Inappropriate?Yes, I installed the version for touchscreen devices. I own a touchscreen device. The Samsung SPH-i350 (also known as the intrepid) is a touchscreen device with a stylus.
This does not solve the problem.
I’m confused
-
Inappropriate?Well, sir, I meant it is not a pocket pc as per old classification. Please give a v.2.44 a try.
-
Inappropriate?I'm not sure I understand... there are 2 types of windows mobile devices, touch screen, and non touch screen.
Touchscreen runs windows mobile professional. That is what my device is.
I installed the version anyway, even though it is not designed for my phone and ran it.
It asks new user, or existing user. I tell it existing user and enter my information. I tell it to sign in. I get a windows hourglass and then the screen goes black. Although the application has not crashed, the stream button and menu button are not visible.
Oh, and after about 4 mins my phone reset on its own. This application does not work properly (the 2.44 version you recommended).
I’m frustrated
-
Inappropriate?Dear User,
The successful registration meant that our WM Smartphone version is the right for you, and that's because you have Samsung Ace2 (sph-i350) similar to Samsung Ace (sph-i325). And our WM Touchscreen version is for phones like Samsung Omnia or HTC Diamond or Touch.
Unfortunately, your phone is not yet fully supported. Please stay tuned and check page http://qik.com/info/supported_phones for updates.
Sorry for any inconvenience. -
Inappropriate?Ilya, we will have to agree to disagree. The sph-i350 is only similar in SHAPE to the original samsung ace. You should probably familiarize yourself with the device. It does not run windows mobile 6.1, but instead it runs 6.5.
It is a full touchscreen device not a smartphone, but a ppc. You keep saying that it is a smart phone and this is flat out incorrect. Wrong. Its a touchscreen ppc. I own one, trust me, I know. It has a stylus.
Here are the specs:

Here is the gallery of pictures of the phone:

Now... I understand (as I did before) that the phone is not working, as you dont support it (yet), my intention was to tell you of the issue.
I hope that you don't continue to think that it is a smartphone, as this will seriously hamper qik's ability to classify the device and get a working application for it.
This problem is not solved.
I’m really irritated.
-
Inappropriate?Ok, sorry, my mistake.
I was given the wrong information on that point.
Unfortunately, this new device is not yet supported. Stay tuned for updates.
Sorry for any inconvenience.
