My Verizon Wireless Samsung Omnia shows "Camera Initializing" and never goes any further. Please Help!

Inappropriate?i guess either your version is not latest or not correct, could you please remove existing application from setting---more ---remove program and remove Qik folder from "my device"

Need some help...tried installing Qik from the link above http://tinyurl.com/69ebwv and the program will now open and it doesn't lock up the whole phone but im suck with Loading signup page... connected to Wifi to see if that would help and that did nothing. Any Ideas?

I did a Firmware update on my Omnia so that I could get the GPS on my phone to work without having to use VZNAV and have to pay for that. Anyway updated my firmware on the phone to S:i910.10 V.CC20.20961
I think this may be causing the program not to work...Anyway if you would like to "test" this out on a Verizon i910 here are the instruction on how to flash it to the new version...Verizon was supposed to have released this last month but never did...it was leaked :) so your going to have to get it to work anyway :p so you can start here...that is if the ROM version is the issue. anyway. I have rebooted 3 times now and still it will not go any further than the loading signup page...1 Comment Add a comment

hello david.. i too did the same thing. but my issue with qik is resolved. i wanted to ask you if you can email me and let me know what GPS program you are using or if you can recommend one to me.

Tried that one and all it does when i try to open the program is it will flip the screen to landscape and then just sit there with the loading icon...does nothing after that. I have to soft reset the phone to get it back1 Comment Add a comment

ok this one works kinda on my i910 with the updated ROM, not using windows 6.5. Qik will load and i get the login screen. I was able to get some video but the issue is when its recording the screen goes white. after i restarted the program it will start to record and i can see what im recording for like half a second then the screen goes white but it will continue recording.

Inappropriate?ok....update...wiped the phone and reinstalled...lost me contacts though :( anyway here is what happens, it will work like i assume it should until I rotate the phone, when I do this the screen goes white. I have to restart the program to get the screen back...when i open the program in landscape it works fine but when I rotate to portrait the screen goes white. So it looks like the issue is when the phone it rotated.

i have also used this version and it works. after i did the flash so i can unlock the GPS, qik stopped working. but its all good now.... thanks a bunch.. only question i have is what is that button on the left that has a big red circle, then when u click it it looks like a touch screen phone.

This doesn't work on the Omnia, with the GPS update, either. The software will start, and it looks like it's gonna work, but it doesn't record and it doesn't send. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but as the Alpha has a brand new GUI, maybe Qik should have the common sense to provide some instructions.

Hi Mario, What type of update are you asking about? I dint do any update. If you are talking about ROM update no I didn't. Because when I try to do it software says I have latest ROM version.
