About the video capabilities that are being uncovered in the newest SDK. A couple homebrewers have cooked up an app that can record video and save it to the device. Not bad for the initial offering.
My detail on that thread with a link to the project. Qik may want to talk to those guys who are working on the current video app; perhaps they can provide insight into what you would have to do to make use of the advancements in the new SDK.
