@goSAM Check out www.mosso.com. Support is great & they're a Rackspace company. MT, very limited support and they dont even offer a SLA.

Just rec'd fanatical customer svc (as promised) from Rackspace. They offered to handle my VeriSign renewal for me and I got a discount!

@EliW I don't have a 'down' script - I have Rackspace's awesome monitoring system which reports status based on preset thresholds by name.

@JackieAdame I've had a pretty good experiences w/ bluehost & even Rackspace the one time I worked w/ them. So maybe there's hope yet :)

@firecatsue for the most amount of flexibility, but higher initial cost: Rackspace. With "Potential" you want flexibility. Who wrote the app

Pricing hosting for a potentially high-traffic site. My go-to is Rackspace. Any other suggestions? Need great service, knowledge.
