Inappropriate?ok, thats something we can add.
If you can explain exactly what you are trying to do, we can design this feature to make it easy for you. Is there any particular workflow you are using which makes you want to select only some files in a folder? -
Inappropriate?Thanks for your quick response
More important would be a option to decompress only some files
that way, if i want to use one picture i don't need to decompress the whole folder.
but it will also be nice just to have the option to compress some files in a folder...
it will also be helpful to preview the images (so i know which pictures i want to decompress)...but i saw there is a topic on that already
another idea, since this program is mostly for archiving, i want to compress all my RAW's in one time (for example, input: c:\pictures\ and the program will replace all my RAW's with smaller RAWZOR's (each RAWZOR in its original RAW folder)
Thanks alot

Inappropriate?1) We are working on adding Rawzor option to right click menu of windows explorer (like winzip and 7zip do). I think that would be easier for you, will you still need selecting-some-files feature after that?
2) For previews, a lot of software support Rawzor's. rwz files, like xnview, RawTherapee etc... we are working with more software developers for this.
3) We have a "Destination same as source location" option in rawzor. We can add a 'Delete source files" option and then together it should give you the 'replace' option you want. Will this work for you?
Thanks a lot for your time.
I’m excited

Inappropriate?1) no. that would be great...
2)will it be possible to add "faststone" to that list? i realy like that program...
3)i just checked and saw that it compress also files in sub-folders...thats great
adding a 'Delete source files' option will be perfect!
just one more Q, is this program totally safe to use?...i'm a little scared to convert all my RAW's and then find out that they won't open...
Thanks a lot

Inappropriate? It will be great if you can drop an email or forum message to faststone developers. I will be happy to work with them to help then integrate our free sdk but they need to know that 'their' users want this feature. So it will help if you contact them.
Yes, Rawzor is totally safe. It might fail to compress some of your raw files if it doesn't understand them but if it did compress them it will definitely be able to decompress them. There are thousands of internal checks to make sure your files are completely safe.
I’m happy, confident
