Smart Return

I'm not sure what the current term for this feature is. There probably isn't one so I've borrowed Garrett Dimon's -- "smart return" (reference).It would be handy if filters were saved between page views. So, if I go to my timeline, filter by progress then go off to the site somewhere and then return, I still am shows the books filtered by progress.

On the "books" page especially, the default option of recently added doesn't do much for me as I have many many books. I'd rather see my recently updated ones by default as those are the ones that I'm most likely going to be interfacing with.
