I don't like looking at a list of books that I have read when all the thumbnails are of other editions.

Inappropriate?Agreed. I've got a plan for user uploaded covers that I want to implement before we go public.
In the mean time though if you're having trouble finding the exact edition of your book try typing in the ISBN number in the search. I've found this usually returns the exact book with proper cover.
