Love the support for Flickr, I use LittleSnapper for providing feedback on website comps, reporting bugs in our software, etc it would be awesome to be able to add a Basecamp project to the accounts and then push an image to that specific project. Their API is pretty simple and I'm considering writing a janky cron script to do this for me in the meantime but just wanted to share this idea.
It would help our organization-fu tremendously if we could create a new collection, select it, minimize/hide LittleSnapper, and then every snap we make is added directly to that new collection. Perhaps this needs to be an option and not a default, un-adjustable behavior, but this would be incredibly useful in situations where we need to snap many shots of different aspects of an application's behavior, different modes of a website, and different products or media throughout the day. Having to root through the library for snaps to organize post-snapping process can be a pain.
Add an option to send snaps and your photos from your iPhone to your littlesnapper library on your mac via the web.
This would be done by uploading the image to a private (not publicly visible) collection on quicksnapper, then either "pushing" or clicking a button to "fetch" snaps from that private web pool to your littlesnapper.
I realise this is possible via uploading to quicksnapper, then downloading the snap to your library. But you must do this by manually navigating with your browser to your QS account, and downloading snaps individually.
This way, it is built into the app, is a one-click process, the photos do not become publicly visible just for the sake of being able to get them onto LS, it's a batch process, and could also be fully automated, and fully awesome.
When searching tags, I find it odd the search term has to be identical to the actual tag to be found (eg. the search term "nav" produces no results, same with "navigation" but I have a bunch of results for "Navigation" down to case specific? Really?
Would at least be helpful to see a list of cloud of my keywords if search has to be exact.
I would like to see fix categories in the sidebar, besides the smartfolders and stuff. Every category (Screenshot, Websnap, Photo) gets its own Icon, so you can find one of them better.
RapidWeaver appears to have deleted ALL the content of ALL my blog posts in the RW file, but left headers, tags and titles behind. This is INSANE - I've got a lot of very picky graphics I've uploaded over the last few months and it's going to take me FOREVER to try and copy/paste it all back into RW.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what happened, and if I can recover the data?
When you want to "quickly share an image" you have this damn long domain of quicksnapper. This isnt very handy so I thought you could add a second domain for the clipboard-copy like "qsnapper.com/I2lrti" like in services like bit.ly. This domain transforms of course to the real domain. So its only a capsule for the real domain.
We have an existing website and need to change development software. We have purchased Rapidweaver 3.6.7. We cannot find a way to IMPORT the existing site, just a way to IMPORT a template. Is there a way to do this?
I have my Flickr-Account and even my QuickSnapper-Account in LittleSnapper but the most pictures I post on Facebook. Flickr is more for Photography and I think Facebook would make an awesome addition!
currently I'm running two apps for screenshotting: Skitch for fast "Shot it and send it via mail" and LittleSnapper for the serious stuff. It would be so awesome, If you could give LS a bit of the skitch-appereance, like copying to clipboard. Maybe, when you upload the screenshot to Quicksnapper, you get a "Mail this link"-Button or a "Mail this screenshot" as a shortkey! PLEAASE, I wanna shut down skitch for this!
- tag autosuggestion/autocomplete
- tag list, to drag and drop from (to make sure i always use the same i.e. "background" and not "backgrounds")
- ctrl+z should work when adding annotations, arrows for example. but it doesnt, escape does the trick here, feels strange to me
- somehow smart collections dont work, i have one looking for the tag "bright", and it does not show all pics tagged with "bright".
- upload is very slow
- tabs in browser
- open all open firefox tabs in littlesnappers browser
- upload to ipernity, scrnshots, etc...
When I'm editing an image there's no control in the window to control the zoom level. The slider that controls the zoom level in the browser should be repurposed to control the zoom level when editing. I shouldn't have to use the menu for this, especially because the menu doesn't let me pick intermediate zoom levels between the zoom stops.
The quicksnapper-page is full of crap and stuff no one wanna see! Why don't you add a "4-5 star filter" on the page, so it's fun again to surf the site. Imgspark.com and zootool.com is full of high-quality-content but quicksnapper.com is full of crap! We have to tidy up! :)
More web-appereance like zootools.com. I'm close to use this website for the things I do with LS cuz I can add stuff everywhere I am! My iPhone, at work and at home!
I want to post images in my blog that link back to the cool websites they came from.
The resulting code would be like (a href = "coolpage.com")(img src="quicksnapper.com/me/coolimage.jpg")(/a).
I'm sure this is possible because the quicksnapper page contains a link to the page from which the Websnap came.
This would cause a revolution in blogging!
I love the new app and sharing service, if only there was an option to save a web archive (like Yojimbo or Safari) this app would be even more amazing.
