Sorry hosting network support says: "it's a Mac issue, bye!"

using rw 3.6.7 and cyberduck I uploaded to my host Omnis network and I get a Forbidden access message. The original website was done with RW but someone else loaded it for me. Trying to do it myself and it seemed easy until this glitch. I was instructed by Omnis support to upload to www directory and rename the file index.html. Omnis phone support has been pretty pathetic or non-existent, if you mention Mac they say they have nothing to do with, "it's a mac issue." So now what?
