Thumbs are Broken, Cannot Drag to Finder!!

Reposting this from the old Realmac forum, cos these kind of problems are still occurring:

Snaps show up blank, or as exclamation marks, or without annotations in my Library, and cannot be dragged out to Finder.

I've made some serious effort here..

But today, I've restarted LS, and tried the workarounds that have worked in the past, all to no effect.
So, i can't get my snaps.

My solution: Load up Skitch, take screenshots of Little Snapper!!!

This product is very far from working as advertised. Instead, there are spinoffs: an iPhone app, and Ember.. I feel like an absolute sucker.
