Why doesn't the opacity slider work on the header title and slogan text?
I have been trying to change the opacity of the title text and slogan text. I work the slider and nothing happens. Absolutely nothing. I can change the color of text but not the opacity.

Inappropriate?The opacity setting you are referring to is a built in feature of the Apple Colour Picker which RapidWeaver uses to manage the colour choices. Not all browsers support the CSS Opacity property so it has been disabled to ensure that the site will look the same across the browser spectrum.
Custom CSS can be used to achieve this. I've posted an example in your forum post here;
