Presenting Dates and Booking
I'm definitely interested in joining the training session, but am hesitant to sign up as I'm not sure I will be able to do 6-8 training sessions in February and March of 2009. I have three retreats between my two ministries during those two months which will make it a busy schedule already.
My question is twofold:
A) Does it have to be during those two months or could it be extended to April? I'm sure I could fit the trainings in with an extra month, but am not sure about those two specific months.
B) If I understand correctly, I would be the one responsible for setting up the sessions and performing them. Does that mean I have to do all of the legwork to go with them or am I just getting the churches, who will then take care of the rest for me until I show up and speak?

Inappropriate?The 6-8 dates in the Spring is what we're pushing for, but if you can't do that, it's okay. The idea is that you'll be able to continue to do these events even after the first Spring dates.
Ideally once the church books you to speak, they'll do all the leg work as far as promoting it to their church to get people out to attend. We'll have some promotional materials online for churches bringing presenters in that they can use to promote.

If I go through the training and only one church ends up booking me that's okay right? There's not pressure in the speaker to have try self-promote in their area until they get 6-8 sessions right? -

If you only get 1 church, that is okay. No pressure. We understand that there will be some who don't get to 6-8 and that there will be some presenters that go way over 6-8. That's alright. The main goal is to get the message out to as many people as possible but in a smaller local church environment.
