ireddit wouldn't let me log in because my password has several different symbols in it

ireddit wouldn't let me log in because my password has several different symbols in it. The two symbols were & and *, I'm not sure if length of the password had anything to do with the problem, but the password was characters 14 long. Once I changed my password to a simple password I could log in without issue.
