Inappropriate?The target area is the same size as the standard iPhone detailed accessory indicator target. I'm hesitant to change something that is so widely used elsewhere on the iPhone platform.

Inappropriate?Ah, yes, but it's significanly harder to hit. Don't you find yourself
frequently missing it?
My guess is that the unusual height of the overall field is throwing
it off. If you go to your phone favorites where the fields are all
one line high, for example, you'll see it's impossible to tap between
the arrows. Anywhere you touch on the right hand side always selects
an arrow.
Give it a shot... try touching the comments icon on a multi-line headline 10 times... what is your success rate? -
Inappropriate?I hit it 10 times out of 10. But, I also increased the hit area by about 50% to be on the safe side. Hopefully that helps.

Inappropriate?I came here to mention the same problem. One thing I think could also help is if the right side of the row activated the comment link. That way regardless of the size of the button you won't accidentaly trigger the article link.
