Wrong country URL?

I just added my profile, but I could not see it. My coleaguess are filled under /developers/country/czech-republic/ page, but I under /developers/country/ceska-republika/ (both is same, first is in pure english language, second is mix of english and czech language)

Hi Michal,
The reason you weren't showing up in the developer listings was because we hadn't approved your listing. When either a new developer or gig is added to the site, it has to be approved by us before it will appear in the public listings.

We do this to try to keep all listings as relevant as possible.

Hi Michal.

We use the Google Maps API for geocoding and it decides what language to show based on the language of your browser. If your browser language was English it would give you "Czech Republic".

I have changed your country to the English name, to keep it consistent with others. We are looking for a way to make this happen automatically.

This is a know issue with the Google Maps API and has been accepted for investigation. We'll be notified when Google fix the issue and will let you know ASAP.

We've made some changes to the way the API is loaded which may alleviate this issue.
