Been trying to send a text message to Rememble but it doesn't seem to be working with the number given in the "How-to". Also... the how to says one phone number to save on your cell, and in the image another one is shown. Which one do we use?!
(Also, I should add, can you just send a note via text message using the "name:" prefix?)
(Note: I'm in Canada. Is this a problem? If it is. I'll move. I swear. :P)
I was wondering if it would be possible to have more Tweets shown to select from, or have it paginated somehow? I don't know if the Twitter API allows that.
There seems to be some alignment issues in Internet Explorer (v6 - yeah... I usually use FireFox but this isn't my computer). Specifically there is a major one on the "SMS, e-mails, and notes" tab in the Add Memble section. On the right column of the page (that has the textareas for sender's name, etc), the textareas seem to be "tabbed" (they have some spacing to the left that looks funny).
Not too big a deal. I'm just a perfectionist.
P.S: If you need a screenshot I can provide one for you.
Would be wicked if we could embed our memble line (or at least a piece of it) on our blogs/etc. Also, wondering how to link someone to my profile/membline on Rememble... not entirely sure how I would go about doing that since when I click the "Your Profile" link, it sends me to the url rememble.com and not rememble.com/?userid
(I know this is a question as well, but I didn't want to spam the forum too much.)
When adding Membles from something like Twitter or Flickr... it would be really wicked to have it set up so that it checks off the items you've already submitted to Rememble. Keep forgetting which ones I've posted, and I keep having to refer to my Membleline.
Why don't you allow people to "scrape" the best of the web.. particularly looking for a way to pull in thoughts/learnings and insights from a series of blogs rather than bookmarking each individual page...
Not sure whether this is the same for all the ways you "Memble", but when I put up a Twitter memble and say "Add Another Memble" it sends me to the previous page that has all my Twitters. Maybe send it back to the actual "Add a Memble" page?
What would happen if you just send a picture via mobile without name, etc? Would it still be received be Rememble and stored? I ask because my mobile phone (unlike the super high-tech phone in the FAQ pages) seems to process and send the images differently. I've been waiting for a few minutes - call me impatient, but I thought I'd bother nonetheless what would happen?
We've love to hear what your hopes are for Rememble. We've got our own plans and ideas that we working on but really we're here to make your life easier. So if you really want us to go a certain direction or add a certain feature just let us know about them here :)
I feel like such an ass writing so many comments here today but once I got on the site I got instantly addicted. Two things:
- When you go to Rememble.com it doesn't remember you on the front page... so you have to log in each time.
- It would be wicked to have a stronger FAQ system that would allow you to search and it would give you possible answers.
