alerts trigger recording of blank messages
When I receive a reQall alert on my iPhone, reQall is automatically opened. I dislike this behaviour for two reasons: 1) if I am not paying attention, reQall stays open and uses up the battery; 2) If my phone is in my pocket, the proximity detection sometimes triggers touch-free recording, sending repeated empty messages in to reQall.

This is strange to me as reQall doesn't automatically open when I receive an alert. I assume you mean push notifications, right? When I get a push notification, I have a choice to close it or view it. If I pick view, then it opens reQall. If I pick close or ignore it, reQall doesn't open. Can you tell me more about what is happening for you since it sounds like something different? -
Inappropriate?Yes, I mean push notifications. Sometimes, I get the choice as you describe, but sometimes they seem to open reQall without intervention from me. I'm not quite sure in what circumstances: I'll keep an eye on it and give you more detail if it happens again.
