Are improvements coming?
I have been dipping in and out of reQall for some time but now but I have committed and signed up for a Pro account. I am wondering though, reading the posts here, if much is going to change. I am looking not just for a memory aid, but an organisational tool that will sort my projects and todo list. Currently, I find that reQall is not much better than say, Jott or Dial2Do and a lot worse than Toodledo or RemembertheMilk. The tantalising part of reQall is that maybe, someday, it will have some of the functionality of these two with its existing voice and other methods of input. I see a number of posts here referring to what might be coming but is there a roadmap of changes that could be published so I know if reQall is even planning to be what I want?

Inappropriate?Hi Simon, We appreciate your interest in reQall and I'm happy to tell you that we will continue to grow as a company and make lots of improvements along the way. Currently we do not offer a public road map of the future of reQall. However, you can get an idea of what reQall has in store based on the popularity of ideas on Get Satisfaction.
Every time a user has a suggestion, or mentions something they think would improve reQall we add it to our very long list of user requests. Every time someone else suggests the same thing, we add that vote to the existing one and it moves up along the list. The more popular the idea, the more recognition it gets from our team.
When releasing a new feature or improving existing ones here are things that we look at:
- How many people have asked for the feature?
- How does the feature fit with our strategic direction?
- How much effort would it take to develop and maintain the feature? Do we have the resources available to do this?
From a strategic perspective, reQall is about memory. We aren't interested in just providing a speech to text solution. Speech is a necessary part of our app, but it isn't our reason for being. That is why you will probably not see us implement ideas that focus on us as a speech to text vendor.
Our main concern is memory and what we can do to improve yours. You will see us continue to invest in technology like our Memory Jogger, a feature that helps you remember with little to no effort on your part.
I hope this gives you an idea of where we are going. Please let me know if you have any other questions!
