Implementing a 'Project' Category
I would like to see a 'Projects' category implemented in reqall. I often have multiple steps to complete a project. And most of the time one has to follow the next. As it stands now, I can create a 'Place' with the project name, and it sort of is the same idea, but that brings up another issue: if one step of the project is at home, and one is at work, then i cant define that, as I am already using the 'Place' as a project name.
An example could look like this:
Project: Hire new programmer.
Step 1: Meet with current lead programmer (at work)
Step 2: research potential hires (at home)
Step 3: Interview selected hires (at work)
Step 4: Choose programmer (with boss at work)
All of these steps fall under one Project, but are at different places. It would be awesome to be able to look at my To-Do's on a project by project basis if I wanted to.

Inappropriate? That's a great idea. The current problem with reQall is that is does just one thing. It's a memory aid. Once it has helped to remind you, it does does an awful job of organising the things you have to do. I am hoping it will improve over time but it doesn't seem to be.
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?Hi! It is currently on our list of user requested features to allow users to create their own tabs, which I believe is what this would fall into. I have added these votes to our list. We are always glad to hear your feedback/ideas. Thanks!

Inappropriate?Likewise I have Projects as well to track.
I'm able to post my projects on Notes and recopy each action item as a to do item.
This gives me the whole picture that I want and also execute each item when it's due.
This has duplicate efforts involved and the size of the Notes is also limited.
I’m confident

Inappropriate?I need to be reminded of a project with multiple to-do's. I have decided to do my project planning elsewhere and manually moving the major milestones to reqall. Creating our own tabs in Reqall would be quite helpful!
I’m hopeful this comes in a future release.

Inappropriate?I also find Reqall a bit weak in this aspect.
I try to place project items under one "place" at the time, but it kind of falls apart after adding it that way.
I am unable to see it anywhere grouped nicely.
In ToDo's, I have a project, title, and underneath I can have smaller projects to individually add due dates, times, priorities and can nice and neatly see where I stand in a project.
I'm trying to figure out a work around until this gets intergrated, but just haven't figured anything out yet.
I too use another application for this. I'm hoping I can move to one application or the other soon.
Thanks

Inappropriate? Thanks for the feedback guys. I have added the votes and also shared your thoughts with our team.

Inappropriate? Please add my vote to the list. This gap is the biggest thing that keeps me from truly relying on reQall as my main task manager. Now I have a mixed solution using Remember The Milk ad reQall.
As a consultant, I am always working on multiple projects as a time, and it would be immensely more useful to be able to view tasks be each project.

Inappropriate?hate to advertise for other products, but actionmethod.com (and iphone app) is pretty much exactly the idea im talking about. However, using reqall would be much nicer (voice additions)

Inappropriate?I can't agree more with this and I think that the 18 other people that agree with this should be combined with the suggestion made by gotommy about organizing the entries. I love this app and idot es sooooo much but yet this small problem keeps me going back to toodledo. If this could be added along with the ability to organize then this could be a stand alone app for many.

Inappropriate?Jessi,
Please add my vote for the custom tab. Does indicating that I 'like this idea' add my vote to the list?
Is there a published list of feature requests and their current support from the reQall user community? Any idea on how long it is expected to be before functionality supporting user defined 'projects' may be implemented into reQall ?
Great work on this app so far, I think it's a winner!
Cheers,
Andrew. -
Inappropriate?Great idea Sean, I would LOVE to see Reqall add these type of features. I've paid for the Pro features mainly because I like the app, want to support the company, appreciate the company interaction here and would like the app to go to a whole nother level of excellence. My last update actually disabled a feature for me which was pretty dissapointing. I'm not able to update my iPhone software indefinitely which is not Reqall's fault but none the less it was dissapointing. C'mon let's rock!

Inappropriate? Thanks for all of the feedback guys. Yes, selecting the " I like this idea" option you add your vote to the list. I keep track track of the " I like this" and the written comments. We do not have a public list of user requests mainly because of how long and ever changing this list is. Here is a link that you might find useful about a roadmap for reQall, http://getsatisfaction.com/reqall/top....
