Need Alarm / Alert / Notification flexibility
Need to have on Touch app:
ability to set due date and time for alarm on the device
alert or alarm function that activates on the device
on screen alert that will not disappear when you enter pass code to unlock the device
snooze button on alert with flexible configuration for 5 min, 15 min, 1 hour etc
audible alarm that can override Apple's sound effects settings so that alarms come through but the annoying system sounds do not
set notifications by text message on an individual or by priority basis - I don't want text msg reminders on everything, but would like on some important things, especially since there are no device based alerts at the moment.
have alarm sound able to be linked to music file stored on the device
Thanks!

Inappropriate?I figured out a work around to get selective text message alerts, in the reqall entry I put 'Urgent' at the end of the message. Email alert is forwarded to my gmail account, set up filter in gmail to forward messages
From: reqall
Has the words: Urgent
Doesn't have: Daily summary
The "Doesn't have" keeps gmail from sending the Daily summary which contains the item for that day with "Urgent" in it, so I get it when I have the task scheduled.
Still looking for audible alarms from any ToDo type app, first one that has that and syncs with ical gets my money.
I’m still looking for alarms

Inappropriate?Cool, Dave! I'm glad you shared this.

Inappropriate?I think it would be great to get a "memory jog" without having to shake the phone and have it constantly remind you until it's marked done.
I had this feature on my treo to-do list and I really liked it. -
Inappropriate?Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. I'll put this down as a feature request.
I’m happy to hear what you have to say.

Inappropriate?I like the idea of being able to toggle the notification reminder on or off when creating a new item on the iphone. When I get notifications about every item on my list, I start to ignore them, defeating the purpose of reminders.

this is one of the best points

Inappropriate?Totally agree with Dave - I find each item needs a simple notification frequency toggle at the point of item entry. iPhone for me as well.

Inappropriate?I agree with this.
Also, why doesn't the Outlook Integration activate the alert?
This makes Outlook Sync nearly useless to me.
We need alarms (even if just at the predetermined time before) to be activated when a task is sync from Reqall to Outlook.
That way you would almost not need to receive the SMS.
I am currently getting many SMS a day and now tend to ignore them, defeating the purpose of the alert in the first place.
If alert deliveries were flexible and were also activated on the synced item in Outlook, the SMS wouldn't be necessary for that item. -
Inappropriate? We're looking at activating the alarms in Outlook.
