Unable to login to Outlook Plug-In (Error occurs while communicating with Server)
After installing the Outlook Plug-in and typing in my userid and password that I use to log into the website, I receive the following error:
Unable to login to Outlook Plug-In (Error occurs while communicating with Server)
I've tried both my email addres and phone number as the userid; both of which successfully logs me in on the website.

The version on the website now handles this issue. Please go to http://www.reqall.com/webnew/calendar... and select the appropriate link based on the Outlook version you are using.
BTW, I found that some of my email and your email to me on the subject of Outlook ended up in spam folders. So, if you sent me a request and didn't hear back, please check your spam folder. Sorry about that. Evidently it was labeled as spam because the URL had a number in it.

Inappropriate? We believe this is related to a corporate proxy and are investigating the problem.

Inappropriate?Hi, i downloaded and installed the newest plug-in version from the web page for Outlook 2007 but still get the same error message.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Jens -
Inappropriate?Jens, I apologize for this issue. Please send an email to support@reqall.com with the following so that we can figure out what is happening for you:
- your email address so we can investigate your account
- the Outlook and Windows versions you are using
- the reQall for Outlook debug log. For Windows Vista this log is at:
C:\Users\xxxxx\AppData\Roaming\reQall\reQall for Outlook\reQallUser.db. For Windows XP it is at C:\Documents and Settings\xxxxx\Application Data\QTech\reQallOutlookAddin\reQallUser.db. In both cases, xxxxx is your Windows username. -
Inappropriate?I'm getting the same error with the new plug-in as well. There is now an option to override the IE proxy server, but I have no idea what information to put into those boxes. I don't think we use a proxy server in my office anyway.
Thanks,
Gabe -
Inappropriate?Gabe, can you send an email to support@reqall.com with the same info I mentioned for Jens? This will help us debug the problem. Thanks.

Inappropriate?I'm experiencing the same issue. Was there any resolution to this? I just downloaded the plug-in today, so I'm assuming it's the latest one.

Inappropriate?Hi Tim, I'm sorry for any inconvenience. Is your PC behind a corporate proxy? If so, you will have to input the proxy info on the Settings page. Also would you mind sending us your log db file to support@reqall.com
To send the reQallUser.db file which is stored at the following location(s):
For Windows Vista:
Please go to My computer --> (C:) your C: drive --> Users --> administrator (yours may be under something different) --> AppData --> Roaming --> reQall --> reQall for Outlook --> reQallUser.db
For Windows XP:
Please go to My Computer --> (C:) your C: drive --> Documents and Settings --> administrator (yours may be listed as your name or all users) --> Application Data --> reQall --> reQall for Outlook --> reQallUser Data Base File
Please note: This file only logs debugging information, it does not contain
any user data. But it helps our debugging immensely. -
Inappropriate?I just reimaged my system last week and I installed the latest plug-in (which really isn't a plug-in anymore). Typing in my corporate proxy settings and authentication allowed syncing with Outlook.

Inappropriate?Great, I'm glad to hear it. Enjoy your reQall:)

Inappropriate?@aleaax, can you send a debug log to support@reqall.com? See Jessi's reply above on how to do this. Thanks.
