Recently active topics in RescueTime about Mac Data Collector

It seems since yesterday, every time I send an update or an update is sent automatically no information shows on my dashboard and then there's a similar thing in the debug window:

I'm pretty sure this started happening after I installed the latest updates for my mac (I'm running Leopard) if that's any help. I've tried restarting multiple times but the error still occurs.

I've been using Rescuetime the last few weeks and it seems like it doesn't log everything I do at my computer. Todat I've been working 3 hours today with Zend Studio (java app), cocoamysql, transmit, firefox, safari & mail. But my rescuetime only shows 39 minutes. If I get into details it shows me -1hrs 17 min. Why is the app stealing time from me :P

Being a web developer and all I keep a number of Firefox installations, together with one of MineField (the alpha of FF3). Because I need them to play nicely with each other I enabled initial ProfileSelection on browser startup.

Most of the time I work in FF2, but for some reason, RescueTime starts my MineField every few minutes, where it stops on ProfileSelection screen.

If I select a profile and MineField running it works, yet it is very annoying.

Since the last version of RescueTime, I have a bug on Mac OS X Leopard. It try to make directory on root and not on Library.

The following message keeps repeating in my error log (every two seconds, my scan interval):

The collector is also continuously burning at least 3% cpu, and I've occasionally observed it using 80+% for extended periods of time.

I'm required to use a VPN for a good part of the day that blocks access to everything but corporate sites. Not always, but sometimes, this will cause RescueTime to lock up.

It appears that the real issue is that URL something or other service (I can't remember the name right now and I haven't made a note of it anywhere) locks up. Both applications need to be force quit, and I usually have to restart to get RescueTime to work properly again.

I'm using Leopard 10.5.1.

I'm happy to give any additional information as well.

I'm using rescuetime in os x (10.5/Leopard), and simultaneously running it inside Parallels in WinXP.

I've configured my application preferences, on the rescuetime website, to "ignore parallels desktop", so that my time is not double counted.

However, each time I do so, it seems that the parallels desktop time "comes back" and starts getting reported again!

If I go back to the rescuetime site, click "unignore parallels", and then "ignore parallels" again, it goes away ... until the next update.

Am I doing something wrong or weird?

I have installed RescueTime on the 3 Mac computers that I use. All of them are running Leopard, and two won't update to the web site. The other one will, but does not put anything from Safari into the data. I'm sure this well be addressed by the update scheduled for this week, but I just wanted to let everyone know, and to offer any info I have to squash bugs.
