    RescueTime underreports the time I spend on full window applications such as games and movies. Last reply on March 28, 2008 16:54.

    I played a two hour game of Age of Empires yesterday, and it registered as 10 minutes. When I watch movies, RescueTime records maybe 5 minutes for each hour I watch.

    I'm running the latest version on Windows XP.

    re-enable logging after unlocking system Last reply on May 20, 2008 19:25.

    Currently when a computer is locked, rescuetime stops logging (as expected).. But when coming back from unlocking the computer, rescuetime doesn't resume logging; it requires specifically re-enabling logging from the user.. Is there a setting to automatically re-enable the system, or is the manual method the only way??

    Using RescueTime as a non-administrator Last reply on May 12, 2008 18:56.

    I would like to use the rescuetime collector on a work machine.

    While I have administrator access (so I could install it), I want it to log my regular user account (which is distinct from my administrator account).

    Is it possible to install rescuetime for a non-administrator user?
    What's the best way to do this?

    Rescue time lost my tracking data Last reply on May 11, 2008 20:09.

    Rescuetime tracked my time usage for a few days, and now says it has no data for me. I use firefox and have AVG spyware and Windows Defender active. I tagged many sites and that is also now lost.

    Wrong year (2005) always displayed on Windows XP! Last reply on April 26, 2008 11:17.

    I have a Dell Inspiron 1300 with Windows XP. The date always says 2005, even when I go into the Date/Time area and change it to 2008 and click Apply. It automatically keeps going back to 2005. The day and month are correct, it's just the year that's always 2005. Any suggestions? This is causing a lot of problems for my files which automatically pull the date from the computer. Thanks!

    Privacy issues with the new Groups service Last reply on April 14, 2008 15:49.

    Hi - Great product.

    I have just opened a group to which I have invited a colleague. However, I have discovered that I can see the exact websites he is accessing, which is a big privacy issue, as I don't really want to know the details of his intimacy. How do I avoid seeing such detailed information, or such information being sent to other members of the group? I just want to share tags, really.

    .NET exception on startup Last reply on April 07, 2008 14:00.

    Hey Yall,
    I was totally digging RescueTime until it started crashing on startup. As soon as I launch it i get the following .NET Framework Exception. Any ideas? Do I just need to delete the user.config file?

    To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
    application or computer (machine.config) must have the
    jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
    The application must also be compiled with debugging
    enabled.

    For example:

    <configuration>
    <system>
    </system></configuration>

    When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception

    Does RescueTime stop logging when my Windows screen is Locked? Last reply on January 03, 2008 22:01.

    If I lock my computer with Windows-L (Or Ctrl-Alt-Del, Enter), does RescueTime notice this and stop tracking immediately, or does it still wait the two minutes for the idle time out?
