Inappropriate? There should be a debug log that you can email to team@rescuetime.com - that hopefully captured some information as to why you are crashing.
Also please let us know some details about your system, OS & version.
Depends on which OS you are on as to the location:
Debug Log File Locations:
Windows XP:
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Application Data\RescueTime.com\log\debug_log.txt
Windows Vista:
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\RescueTime.com\log\debug_log.txt
OS X:
Macintosh HD/<username>/Library/RescueTime.com/log/debug_log.txt (From the GUI assuming default hard drive name)
/Users/<username>/Library/RescueTime.com/log/debug_log.txt (From the command line)</username></username></username></username> -
Inappropriate?I'm on OSX 10.5.7
when I open the rescue time it creates the debug log, displays the image below, spinners the wheel for a few seconds and then closes without invoking an error report dialog or writing anything to the log.
When I open rescue time from the command line I get the following error
open /Applications/RescueTime.app
LSOpenFromURLSpec() failed with error -10810 for the file /Applications/RescueTime.app.
I’m sad

BillOSX:MacOS wwarneck$ ./RescueTime
terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::runtime_error'
