Does time spent on apps and websites get added?
For example, if my applications A, B, C are tagged "Work", all other applications tagged "Fun"; websites x, y, z tagged "Work", all other websites tagged "Fun".
Then does RescueTime add time spent on applications A, B, C and websites x, y, z , counted all this under 1 tag "Work" ?
This is important for me as more and more applications are now online, so if I spend time on an online text editor or with Microsoft Word, it should be counted the same time group as long as it is work related.
The more people who ask this question, the more it gets noticed.

Hi there-
This is EXACTLY how we built RescueTime!
We treat the browser pretty much the same way we treat the operating system. We don't show you Firefox time, we show you gmail time, google time, twitter time, etc.
Any entity (app or site) can be tagged in any way. My "work" tag is a mishmash of a dozen or so apps and a few dozen web sites.

Inappropriate?Great, that is the way it should be! I can't wait for the topic in "privacy : limit the data uploaded to your server" to be solved to re-install and start using RescueTime!
I’m in wait and see mode
