Feature request: logarithmic time scales

I've just read this post in another thread, which mentions optionally filtering out hugely tall columns so that you get a better resolution of the smaller ones. I think a better way of doing that would be to make the time scale (optionally) logarithmic, so that the resolution is improved without removing columns, which could result in misleading information.
