Ignored applications still being reported?
Hello there:
I'm using rescuetime in os x (10.5/Leopard), and simultaneously running it inside Parallels in WinXP.
I've configured my application preferences, on the rescuetime website, to "ignore parallels desktop", so that my time is not double counted.
However, each time I do so, it seems that the parallels desktop time "comes back" and starts getting reported again!
If I go back to the rescuetime site, click "unignore parallels", and then "ignore parallels" again, it goes away ... until the next update.
Am I doing something wrong or weird?
Many thanks!
Keith

Inappropriate? It is possible that the most recent update to the Mac data collector is causing Parallels to reappear in your application list. We made a change in the Mac data collector that caused some applications to report their names differently than previous versions. To the website, this would count as two different applications, so both "versions" would need to be ignored.
If you have recently ignored Parallels and it still keeps coming back in your dashboard, let us know. In the meantime I'll open up an issue on this so we can see if there is something other than the new version of the Mac data collector causing this.
Thanks!

Inappropriate?Thank you for the quick feedback!
I can confirm that I unignored then re-ignored "parallels desktop" just before posting this message. I forced an update to the site just now -- and it's back in my list, yet still ignored.
Thanks!
I’m impressed by the speed.
