Is there any way to block a particular site from being logged?
Is there any way to block a particular site from being logged? I have a Firefox add-on called blogrovr that stays connected to blogrovr.com - it makes my graphs practically useless because that one site dominates everything. Since there is a whitelist feature, I would expect that there is a blacklist feature as well; unfortunately, I've had no luck finding it.

Inappropriate?There sure is!
Option 1 - You can ignore any/app site by clicking on the dominating bar-- the ignore option is to the lower right of that detail page. This is a great option for data that you want hidden that interferes with the accuracy of RescueTime (SETI@Home, a few screensavers, some virtualization software, etc).
Option 2 - You can use our new whitelist feature, which is detailed at http://rescuetime.com/whitelists
I'm going to download and check out blogrovr-- I'm worried that it MIGHT not play nice with RescueTime-- if it's logging Blogrovr time instead of the actual site that you're on, ignoring it might result in underreporting.
I’m digging in!

Inappropriate?I think your suspicions are correct. I tried surfing the web for 10 minutes when blogrovr was turned on, and 10 minutes when it was off. It's difficult to gauge the time exactly because I had to delete the data first and send it back in at the end, but when blogrovr is on RescueTime reported much shorter use.
It seems like only some websites are affected - reddit.com, for example, shows up as only a few seconds or not at all. Google.com did show up though, and the RescueTime website had all of its activity logged.
I’m sticking my tongue out, apparently.

Inappropriate?Yep-- I just confirmed it too. You can open RescueTime and go to the debug tab to see what URL is getting logged. I think how BlogRovr is working is that it's effectively putting another web page on top whatever you are browsing... So RescueTime mistakening interprets that page to be in focus.
I think there's a fundamental incomparability here. There might be something clever we can do (we'll dig in and try).
I’m sticking out my tongue at BlogRovr!
