RescueTime not working!
My RescueTime has stopped working again for the 2nd time. I am now missing days of information like before. You guys told me to delete some file which got it working again but I can't remember which one. How do I fix this and why is it still doing this?

Inappropriate?Sorry for the trouble. We'd love to get a bit more info. Here are some things you could try:
If you are using RescueTime on a Mac, try removing the following file:
/Users/[username]/Library/RescueTime/Results/Sleep Results
If you are using RescueTime on Windows take a look in the Debug tab of the RescueTime preferences to see if there are any errors listed there. If so, paste them back to us in an email ( team @ rescuetime dot com) and we'll figure out what is going on.

Inappropriate? The Sleep Results file is no longer used in RescueTime 1.0.2 on OS X, so check to see if you are running that version or greater (assuming you are running on a Mac).

Inappropriate?I deleted the "Sleep results" file on my mac and it did not fix it this time. what next? Do I have to reinstall the program or what?
-
Inappropriate?1. Make sure you have the latest version of RescueTime (1.0.2).
2. Make sure your username and PW in RT are correct by opening it on your computer and hitting the "verify" button under the basic tab.
3. Go to the advanced tab and hit "send update now".
If all of that works, RT should be working. If you see any errors, describe them to us and/or go to the "debug" tab and scroll to the bottom to find error detail. You can copy-paste that debug info to team@rescuetime.com - it would help immensely.
Thanks!

Inappropriate?I had to delete and reinstall the data collector on my Mac to get it running again. I had version 1.0.2 on there before and this still keeps happening. I don't want to stop using this but my employees are losing faith in the service. Hopefully the new update will keep it working longer...
I’m sad

Inappropriate?Next time you see this issue, we really need to get any details that you see in the Debug tab to try and troubleshoot what is going on.
The 1.0.2 version fixed a previous issue with the Sleep Results file, so that shouldn't have caused RescueTime to stop working on your system this time.
There are a number of reasons why RescueTime can stop working, so any and all details you can provide us next time will help us out a ton! :)
Thank you!
