I'm using a Blackberry Curve 8320 from T-Mobile, and for a long while the Facebook for Blackberry application (v 1.2.0) was working just fine.
However, recently it started giving me fatal errors when I performed certain actions, like opening new notifications or messages, or trying to view my friends' status updates or my friend list.
I tried restarting my Curve and deleting the offending notifications, which fixed the problems momentarily, but then they got worse. I uninstalled and re-installed the FB app three times, but each time the problems got progressively worse. After the third reinstall it stopped working altogether. I am able to install the FB app, but I can't run it anymore. I can't even make it to the login screen anymore because it crashes every time I open the app.
The error I get is "UnsupportedOperationException". In the error log it appears to be accompanied by some other severe UI error. I can post the full error logs here if it helps.
I am running Windows XP SP2. I have installed (several different times to be sure of clean installation) BB desktop manager. I connect my BB 7130e to the cpu via USB, and the desktop manager recognizes it, but when I click on anything it only says "communication error" and tells me to reconnect and try again. Nothing I have done has worked!!!! Please help!!
Yesterday I discovered that I can listen to music on my Blackberry Curve using my iPod earbud. But then when someone called I wasn't able to hear them through the earbud.
I'm curious if you've found you can use certain iPod earbuds with a Curve or not. The whole things of having to buy 2 adapters to work in the Curve is a huge pain!
Parallels recognizes the USB connection and sees the 8130. The Blackberry Device Manager detects the device and gets the PIN. The Blackberry Desktop Manager does not think any devices are attached. HELP!
I am trying to connect via USB in order to synch with Outlook.
I have an a lot of data in a Palm "Memo" file on my Macintosh. How do I transfer that data to my Blackberry Curve. (I do have PocketMac installed on the Curve.)
When I go in to my sms or email inbox folders and try and navigate with the rollerball, rather than moving from one item to the next it keeps the original message it was selected on highlighted and selects the next messages down or up the list as you roll. Much the same as when you hold shift and arrow up and down in most windows based apps like selecting files. How do I turn this off??
I'd like to replace Pocketmac with something web based or just less bulky. All I want is to sync contacts, notes, calendars and todos, but Pocketmac has a tendency to require a lot of supervision.
I'm doing a lot of travelling in China. China filters all their internet, so the internet can be very slow and very limiting. I can surf unrestricted on my blackberry, as I'm on BES.
