How do I add a phone number from my call log to an already existing contact in my Blackberry Pearl?
I can see how to add it to my Address Book but it opens a new contact form and doesn't give me an option to add the number to an already existing contact in my address book. Am I missing something?

Inappropriate? You have to select the number from the call log and then copy it. You can open your address book, select the desired contact and choose "edit". Then you can paste the phone number into the contact.
I’m happy

Inappropriate?Thank you. Too bad they don't have an "add to existing contact" option. But copy & paste sounds like it should work.
I’m grateful there's at least some solution

Inappropriate?you may just need a new OS upgrade, in my 8320, I can select a received/dialed # and 'add to my address book' I'm on OS 4.2.2.180.

This will add a new contact, not add a number to an existing contact entry. The only consolation for the copy and paste is that when you're on the entry in your call log and hit the menu key, it will offer "Copy to Address book" without you having to select, drag, copy, etc. But you do have to exit out of the call log, go to Address book find the contact, then edit and paste. Most free cell phones can do this, but RIM has yet to add this function! -
Inappropriate?Hmmm, I'll look into that. I don't even know what OS my Pearl is running. I'm not exactly gadget savvy. Thanks for the tip!

Inappropriate?do ALT+CAPS+H, it shows all the relevant data

Inappropriate?it works for all blackberries, I don't have a pearl in front of me know. I'll check it out later this weekend.

Inappropriate?Ok... and forgive me for being slow.... So I hit the ALT key at the same time as the others or in that order but one at a time? Also, I don't have a CAPS key. I have a key w/ an upwards pointing arrow that I hit before typing a letter if I want that letter to be a cap.
I’m able to build a web site but can't really work my mobile phone
