I like it! But some improvements to think about...
I've recently got an 8830, and I like the screen size and quality, and also the look and feel (I have a silver one from Verizon). I'm still a little confused by the menus - using the "mouse" in the center for certain functions, but then having to click the button to the left of it for "full" menus in each app. An example is when I want to delete text messages/emails, intuitively that should be on the menu when I click the "mouse", but it's not. Another improvement needed is to the keypad backlight - at night, on the angle a user typically holds the phone (slightly angled down), I can't read the keyboard because the backlit letters are in the loer part of each key. So I've had to adjust the way I hold the phone and hold it up higher, which is awkward. Finally, for some reason it seems that there are more "Alt", "Caps", "Symbol" keys on this phone than others, because I keep getting confused on which one to press to insert the number or symbol above the letter. I think it would have been better to have the Alt key used for the symbols as well - because it's intuitive to use one key for any number/symbol above a letter - correct?
Ending on a great note, I love the GPS funtion used with Google Maps or Telenav.com for an instant Garvin navigation tool. Thanks!
