On login, reset my timeframe to today if my timeframe is old
When I've been away from Rilli for a while and come back, then the date range is set to whatever I had it when I last looked at it. If this date is in the past, you should reset it to "today", probably +/- 3 or 4 days.

Even if I do go browsing around different times, I'd like a "now" button that resets me to this same time window of now +/- whatever.

Inappropriate?Thanks Boris, we were talking about how to handle this today. We've been getting a few "I don't see any events" complains from people who's timelines are stuck on some random day and don't think to change them. Expect to see something like this soon!
