Not my favorite place to work, because...
Not only do they cover the outlets & get all weird about letting people plug in, but my biggest gripe is there's no REAL food.
I would enjoy going there & working for an hour or two if I knew I could also get a salad or a sandwich - not just a sugary pastry.

Inappropriate? Not to sound like too much of a dick, but I think Ritual is happy to have u not working there. The reason they started covering the outlets is because people would come to work and never leave. Half the time never even purchasing as much as one of those nasty little cupcakes.
As far as the food goes. I know they were hesitant to even offer food in the first place. Ritual is a coffee shop not a deli. If u want a good sandwich I suggest you walk a 1/4 block down the street to mission creek. Yum!
I know Ritual is a hot spot for web 2.0 and geeks, but that doesn't mean they like us taking all the available tables ;)
That being said. Ritual does still have a few outlets available at the table in the back.
I’m thankful

Inappropriate?I think this is all stuff that they're done on purpose to keep the focus on really good coffee. I too would love to get a little sandwich at ritual, maybe something pre-made from Lucca's down the block. But Eileen has made it pretty clear that this isn't going to happen in my lifetime.
I’m sad

Inappropriate?I often bring my own lunch to Ritual - usually from somewhere nearby. So far, no one has said anything.
As for the lack of power, I'm sensitive to the fact that a business can't sustain itself if the majority of its customers can rent a table all day long for the price of a cup of coffee.
