Inappropriate? The internal microphone works well on iPhone 3G already, but not on iPhone 2G, because the internal microphone input is limited to 8000Hz, which sounds pretty bad really. So we don't really know of a nice way of using the internal microphone on iPhone 2G.
Still we are working on improving the audio driver, and a new version of it is already in the new RjDj shake, and should soon be included in the other versions. -
Inappropriate? Thanks for the reply! Does that mean, that i can plug in my ordinary headset and it schould work then? Because i tried it and it didn ́t seem to work though.
I’m unsure

Inappropriate?Hi Markus,
there seems to be one big problem with the internal microphone: It's sensitivity is much lower (probably to avoid feedback), so scenes that expect a louder signal may not work correctly.
In general I would recommend to use a microphone connected through the headset input. There are some nice adapters available by Griffin, Shure or so.
Ciao
