Most scenes silent with update!
I cannot get most of the scenes in rjdj album to make any noise when I select them. I'm using firmware 2.2 on an iPhone 2g with the included earbuds/mic. I've tried restarting as well as deleting and reinstalling and they still won't work. Any tips?

Please double check your microphone works, maybe using RjDj single, or a free recorder application.
Also try making a little noise when starting the application.

Anyway, it still doesn't work, except for the Gridwalker and Noia scenes...

Inappropriate?I have the same problem. I've tried reinstalling the app and still nothing seems to be working. Although the free "single" works great for me still. Also, I am pretty disappointed with the scene selection on the "Album" too, doesn't even have the scenes from the single those two are way better than these 6 on the album. Inappropriate?Thanks, but yes, the mic works fine. I use it with iTalk all the time, as well as for regular phone calls. And I have been trying to get the Single to work but only "the scratch scene works but not the Echolon scene" (see comment above).
I've also tried making little noises when starting RJDJ and I get no response from the app.
I've done probably every combination of deleting from the phone, deleting from iTunes, restarting the phone, restarting my mac, redownloading through the phone, redownloading through iTunes... and none of it has made any difference at all to how RJDJ single or album behaves.
I think the only think left that i ain't tried is restoring my phone, and that just seems a little unnecessary...

Inappropriate?Same issue here. Noia and Gridwalker both "work" but do not respond to sound input at all. All other scenes are totally silent. Microphone works perfectly in all other applications. This issue is mentioned several times in reviews on the UK App Store also.
In my case I'm on a nearly new iPhone 3G with 2.2 firmware, so it appears to occur on a range of hardware.
One person said that deleting a whole bunch of applications fixed the issue, but I don't want to start deleting lots of apps I paid for.

Inappropriate?if the app is starting properly and you get some sound output, the problem is not from the way it has been installed, but the way it opens the sound card.
Most applications record then play, we need both at the same time. We know what the problem is, and have various ways to improve this. But keep in mind it's not trivial to do full duplex in your pocket! :-)
Have you tried blowing on the microphone when RjDj is starting up? Yes it should help, really.

Inappropriate?Exact same problem here, with an iPhone 2G running 2.2. Yes, my microphone works with other applications, and yes, I've tried blowing into the mic or making other noises while RJDJ is starting, and it didn't make any difference. I also tried various combinations of reinstalling and/or redownloading the app.
Pretty disappointing to have purchased the app, only to discover that it's completely broken because of a bug that was reported more than a month ago, with no indication that the developer is working on the problem or even acknowledges that there's something wrong with the program.
I'm sure full duplex isn't trivial, but if it doesn't work, don't sell it.

Inappropriate?FWIW blowing hard into the microphone from the moment I push the app icon to it being fully loaded actually worked :) So do give it an over the top try. It's not ideal though as it makes you look a bit of an idiot :)

Inappropriate?I'm having the same problem!! Gridwalker and Noia work, but none of the other scenes do. I've rebooted my iPod, reinstalled the app, blowed on the mic while starting the app, made noise while starting the app, and tried all of these things with the free and the album version.
ONCE I did get the free version to work. But then it quit on me. I don't know what the problem is!
I really love this app and I want the other scenes to work! Help!!
