Killing Jimmy P. is the quite possibly the worst experience of my life.

I have been trying to get past this tedious mission of killing Jimmy P., and it is the worst gaming experience I have had in recent memory. For the love of God, why did you make this mission? I hate it and am considering never playing GTA4 ever again. The helicopter weapons absolutely suck and when it inevitably gets shot down, I have to start the level all over again, and again, and again, ad nauseam. As you can see I am highly annoyed with your creation. How do I get past this nightmare of a level? In my opinion, games should be fun. This is not fun. It is torture.
