Got charged for a month that i had no subscription

i was wondering if i or rogers are at fault for this dilemma; i had an overdue bill payment and on november first they disconnected my phone line and i was out of the country. I was unaware my payment didnt go through so i came back to canada on december 12, still with no phone (disconnected), so i payed the bill but on my rogers bill summary, they had charged me full for the month of nov.6 to dec. 6 when i had no phone. i paid it without realizing that and now i am wondering i they were right to charge me for a month in which i had no subscription.

Inappropriate?I believe they call this "continuity of service". They give you 30 days grace to pay up on your overdue bills (after they cut your line) before they completely cancel your account and send the collection agency after you.
So, you'll be charged even if you were not there for the month... -
