Rogers canceling free Flickr Pro accounts!!
Yesterday morning I received an email from Rogers Yahoo telling me that as of July 1, 2009, the previously free Flickr Pro account provided by Rogers for subscribing to their hi-speed internet service will be terminated.
For me, this was one of the great perks of using Rogers for internet service. I don't have a problem with paying for Flickr (because Flickr is great), but I think it's bastardly for Rogers to take away a service they used to provide for free. The fact that they took away other features, added advertising to their webmail, added bandwidth caps, lowered discounts for bundled services AND increased prices will probably be the final straw for a lot of users.
