Rogers website poorly made

The other day I received a notice from Rogers that the credit card on my Pay As You Go account was about to expire. That's all I read before logging on to their website to change it. But they changed their website since I was last there. I couldn't figure out how to find my details!
After logging in, it presents you with a menu to the left titled My Rogers. In the middle is a big ad that takes a third of the screen. Under that are options to deal with your account. I clicked on several "obvious" choices to change my credit card, all came back saying my account was not eligible for that feature or some such idiocy. I tried to use the Contact Us link, but realized that they had coded it to work only in Internet Explorer. Those of us smart enough to use Firefox would be unable to send a message. Which is what they want, I am sure!
I opened Internet Explorer and sent a message detailing my problem. I also mentioned their ignorance of Firefox users.
Later I tried to use the Contact Us page again (I don't remember why) and got an error that the server was unavailable. Yeah, right!
Eventually (the next day) I went back to the letter I received to read their instructions for changing the credit card online. After logging in, I am to select "Manage My Wireless Services". Huh? Where is that? Oh, it's way down at the bottom of the page, off the screen, in those boxes I was ignoring because they look like more advertising. OK, click.
Next step, select "Saved Payment Methods". Uhh, nope. It's not there. No such link.
So back to the Contact Us page, which is now fixed so I can use it with Firefox. I complain. (Do you think they get any compliments over there?)
Their response? I'm paraphrasing here but it went something like this:
We acknowledge that our website sucks and we are doing absolutely nothing about it. Please phone our customer service line and talk to Melanie, our idiot robot voice who can't understand a thing you are saying.
Fine. So I call Melanie and keep hitting the "0" key until she gives up on me and transfers me to a real person. Except, sorry, we don't believe in offering customer service when it's convenient for our customers. Please call back Monday, when everyone else is calling and tying up the lines.
The funny thing is that I have had no problems with the phone service and I would recommend Rogers to anyone. I think the wireless service is great. At least for my use. But if you need customer service, you might want to try somewhere else. Although I think this is beginning to be the norm rather than the exception....
