Slow internet connection on Rogers
Is anyone else sometimes experiencing really slow internet connection on Rogers' "fastest internet network"?

Inappropriate?YES! its sooo slow right now
i usually flip right through pages, now it takes like 2 or 3 mins to fully load a page instead of seconds which is normally does

Inappropriate?Yeah - me too. I usually get 6.5 - 6.9 Mb consistently (it's why I switched) but for the last 2 or 3 days, especially at night, I am down to 1Mb or less. HORRIBLE.
Haven't called yet but I will tomorrow I think.

Inappropriate?They won't use Get Satisfaction because they are not trained to do that (:p). REP. Answer: "Internet? What's that? Rogers does not offer internet services. And no! you can not talk to my manager..."

Inappropriate?Yeah, it's actually interesting cuz I emailed Giambrone (the TTC chair) and Rogers about Get Satisfaction at the same time and Giambrone actually replied to me before Rogers. They still haven't.

Inappropriate?Even though some people say that the TTC is the worst around, I have to say that they are still 10,000 times better than any Rogers service... They just have to renew some of those metro trains...

Inappropriate?It might be viruses. I am in Guelph. The internet was very slow for a week like 3-5 minus to open a page, but I noticed that if I download files the speed is pretty decent like 300-400 Kb/sec. It found that odd. I scanned my system with my NOD32. It removed 7 trojans. I rebooted, and lo!, Rogers is fast again. Interesting the fact that before I scanned with Ad-Aware and SpyBot. they found nothing.
