All of the suggestions for the website look very good (
http://wiki.rssowl.org/index.php/WebR...), except for 2 of them.
First, from my experience with MediaWiki, it is a pain in the ass to try and modify a template to work with MediaWiki while still getting it to look professional. Honestly, I think that the default template with MediaWiki works fine, and many users are already familiar with it (if they have ever visited Wikipedia...) I've never worked with Bugzilla before, but I expect that it's the same...
Second, a single sign-on is also a pain in the butt, as each and every program suggested uses a different means of user authentication. This goes from the SQL database structure to the actual program code. This also presents MAJOR security issues, as screwing around with the authentication methods could accidentally give a user permissions that he/she did not acquire (or a malicious user could hack his/her way into acquiring admin permissions easier...)
All in all, though, the rest is managable, although the "Search" suggestion is a little hard. I'd have to look through the code and see how each program runs their searches and search indexing, and that could take some time... I just hope that all of the search indexes are stored within the respective databases; this would make it easier to compile all of the indexes together...
(BTW, Benjamin, this is an almost exact copy of the e-mail I sent you; I just wanted to open up the floor...)
